At least they beat an ACC team on the road and gave PSU a respectable game at Happy Valley. Something to be happy about even in a losing season.

I've got no beef with NIU. It just cracks me up that a team beats you twice, fair and square, and you are calling them a fluke. Maybe we should make the MAC title game a best of 7.

I consider Akron to have been a tough team, but they did get to the MACC on a technicality - that's tough to debate, when it comes to MAC West combined conference records or whatever the hell it ended up being.

At least you admit it. What's interesting though is your win over Kansas (OT) and 2 pt loss in Double OT to Iowa St. Being that you played the 2 Big 12 teams very tough and have been smacked around like a pinata by MAC teams tells me that the Big 12 North is awful and not the quality of the better MAC teams which is amazing considering what their athletic budgets are compared to MAC teams.

Maybe Akron got in on a techinicality, and maybe there were better MAC teams than they and maybe not, but one thing is for sure, if there was a better MAC team, it wasn't NIU as the two meetings showed. You can't parse out and quibble about 2-0.
