from Muncie Press - Sunday

BSU surrendered 451 yards passing to run oriented NDSU...Bison ran 23 times for 84 yards and first win ever vs D-1 team.....

BSU totaled 14 yards - 24 attempts.

10,000 witnessed the egg.
It sounds like they are much better at defending the run than the pass which is not necessarily a good thing from our perspective.

OTOH it might provide a great opportunity to come out throwing and to work on our passing game in a low risk situation.

I am not one of the people that blames Phil for all of our passing problems. It is partly Phil, partly our pass blocking and partly our receivers. Lets step it up this week. We need a passing game if we are going to compete for a MAC championship this year and I have not yet given up on that goal.
Remember this, GW did not play in last years game. 9 men up front, Britt has to get open and have a big day. Defensively, have to get to the QB and we win

That is really the key to winning the rest of this year.

1. Keep GW healthy.
2. Receivers get open and catch the ball.
3. Somehow get to the QB so that he doesn't have enough time to read War and Peace.
Lynch scrambled two years ago like he was the son of Fran Tarkington on 31 of 48 passes and three TDs and running 1 yard for the tying TD forcing OT.

He took Cards on his back like the game was personal & not just between BSU & NIU.

Expect fifth year senior to repeat same performance against a D which is questionable vrs a passing attack.
