Why is the game against Kansas in Kansas City MO and not in Lawrence? Im sure Kemper arena is a cool place, but don't you think the guys would love the chance to play at Allen fieldhouse?
Too many away games for my likening and that worries me. Sure playing in all of these tournaments are great for the school and the conference, but if the Rockets start out struggling heading into MAC play, then I don't know how much of an advantage that will be for our team. Furthermore, home attendance will probably suffer because we still do not attract respectable opponents for Savage Hall.

The past two seasons KU has played one regular season game in KC at Kemper Arena in mid December:

2004 - Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Yellow Book Shootout)
2005 - California
2006 - Toledo (American Century Investments Shootout)

Having grown up in Wichita, Kansas (I have absolutely no love for KU or K-State), it was a pretty common thing for KU to play in KC, it is only about 45 minutes away from Lawrence - there are a ton of KU grads/fans in KC
