Well, this article ticked me off some. Northern Star (in all their infinite wisdom :shhh: ) put out a 1/2 page spread bragging our blowout against 1-aa team. Maybe instead of bragging about an easy win against a AA team, we can fix our 2-2 record and poor mac play.
You are upset about what? That the Star talked up our victory?
Who was it that said we have the whiniest fans in the nation? I'll have to agree. Would you have preferred that they ragged on us for it? This is quite possibley the stupidest post I have ever seen.

Halfway into the second quarter, I broke wind (actually, it was more like a hurricane), and I saw some people over on the East side pointing and laughing. Even my wife was in awe of me (once she was resuscitated). It's just too bad that they did not have a parabolic mike facing the West stands, or I may have become world famous!

The article I read in today's Star is not available on line. It's a foto essay of 6 to 8 pix - each with a caption. It was IMO disrespectful and had a few cheap shots . ...not exactly what I would consider funny/clever/witty nor in good taste.
It was exactly opposite of what JoeN preaches. Rather than rub results into ISU noses, he reminded us all where NIU came from not so many years ago.
The article I read was completely classless. Just ripped apart a 1-AA team and embarrassed them. Coming from a school that has lost 23 straight games recently it was just stupid.

Oh that's just ridiculous. The star has really turned into a gutter in the last 2 years. Even the new logo and layout is ugly. I think tomorrow I'm going to write and complain about this garbage.

They definately went for a tabloid look. By the way, last time I wrote in, I got a 8 billion page email response giving me a lecture on journalism . . . although, what do you expect from a dipwad who writes his game articles by the information he sees scrolling across the espn ticker?
