Truly sad and disturbing.

Attendance in this conference is a total joke.

Winning a DII national championship almost every other year certainly helps.

Help me understand how WMU has an average of 18k when it has only had one home game (24+k)? It's late and I've had 3 glasses of wine but it is still not clear to me...
Toledo's attendance should dip since we are playing McNeese St. this week.

I think that is 2005's numbers. We should blow them away this year. 03-melodramatic
One thing he didn't mention is that as it is now, it would near impossible for ANY MAC team be anywhere near the top half because the stadiums just aren't that big. Having said that, yes, the MAC needs help in attendance.

CMU's average after two home contests this season is 22,758. For those who don't recall, that would have been an overflow crowd for Kelly/Shorts stadium pre-renovation. Not too shabby! 02-13-banana
Yes, those were the 2005 numbers. Good progress for some MAC teams this season. MAC does very well compared to D-AA programs. Were kind of stuck in the middle of the College football powerhouse schools and the D-AA level. MAC would dominate D-AA and have many national titles across the board. We aren't the Big Ten or Big East, but we should be able to compete with WAC and MWC.
