So, tonight the MAC had one of those NCAA sportsmanship commercials all the other conferences are airing.
It features Frank Solich and a black background (adorned only with the MAC Web site URL or something like that) talking about sportsmanship.
It closes with a MAC logo at the end.
That was it.
Now, I'll grant Solich is a good choice for pitchman, even if he did read the entire script through clenched teeth (which, from what I understand, is a symptom of ecstacy use, but that's neither here nor there).
But, still, couldn't they have come up with at least one sports highlight to work in. Central Michigan and Missouri State in field hockey. Something?
It wasn't very good.
I only caught the tail end, but the football-themed "MAC is great" commercial seems to have slipped, too.
