Did anybody watch the game tonight? Toledo over Pitt? I doubt it, but ina ll fairness I haven't seen Toledo play this year. I hope Toledo wins.
I think the MAC wins both. Cincy wasn't too impressive, and Toledo looks more solid than Pitt.

Maybe you're right, but I still think UC over Miami.

UC better find someone who can catch a football then.
Our defense was unbelievable considering how bad the offense was. The offense needs to kick it into gear, but Pitt also has a strong defense. I like Toledo, you guys have a solid squad, but Pitt is a legit Top 20 team this year, I believe. More legit then their past Top 25 teams, I think they'll hammer Toledo.
If memory serves, Miami beat Ohio last year.

Not sure, our offense will move the football better than you guys did. If our defense can keep them out of the endzone, it will be a game.

I don't know if you can compare opponents. Example, say that Ohio State beats Texas this week. Then has a let down and Cincinnati pulls off the upset (and Cincinnati HAS come close to doing that, both in Cincinnati and Columbus), does that mean Cincinnati would beat Texas? No way.

I agree. It could go pretty much the way our game with. It was a game for over a half. And then a game again later when we put a couple of scores across the board. I could see Toledo doing the same thing. If we had gotten hot for a stretch offensively we may have won the game, same could go for Toledo.

Transitivity doesn't work in college football. That's my argument, actually.

Whoever started this thread seems to think Cincinnati's loss (with dignity, I suppose) to Pittsburgh, at home, means Miami is doomed against the Bearcats.

That makes no sense at all to me.

We don't have a dog in this fight! why are you bringing Ohio into this mix?

That Dominic Goodman from Colerain HS in Cincy has turned out to be a very good receiver. I guess you mean more than one guy though.
On Sep 9th,2005......Pittsburgh played Ohio on a Friday night, one of the highest rated games in ESPN2 history......a packed house was into the game until the end, storming the field after the victory.

On Sep 8th, 2006.......Pittsburg played Cinncy on a Friday night in front of an empty stadium in the first quarter...........the Bearcats clawed back but the fans filed out.......no atmosphere, no emotion....

UC is in the Big East but they are not going to make it.
