2,100 student tickets sounds a lot to me. But it sounds like a sell out is coming.

That's good news. At the red riot meeting tonight, Dusty told us that as of Wednesday, only 1000 student tickets have been picked up. I'm glad to see the number has increased. Thursday and Friday are the most common days that students go to pick up tickets.

That would mean there would have to be 21,000-22,000 on the west side of the stadium to make the 28,000 capacity. I don't think the stadium is that lopsided.

He is right. The whole east side isn't set aside for the students. That is where you are making your mistake.

"Officially" the west is 15,000 and the east is 10,500.

Add those up and you get 28,000......er, um, well something like that.

on another note on know all the cas were givin tickets to give out to there residents, so a bunch of tickets may go there

He is right. The whole east side isn't set aside for the students. That is where you are making your mistake.

account for 2 or 2.5 sections being dedicated for the high school bands

I believe 6k are set aside for students, and if they are not all claimed, they are made available to walk-ups on game day.

Remember too that students can also actually buy additional tix like with Parents Day which is WHEN?

The Athletic Dept. is actually trying to get students to go to this game. There was some guy from the athletic dept. promoting the game and giving out tickets to students in Stevenson yesterday and today. I asked him how ticket sales were going, and he said they were going well. He said that right now, if the weather holds up, they are projecting to have a crowd of about 20,000.

We will cross our fingers for the weather. It's a shame, however, that 20,000.00 is considered well. Horribly, we need good weather to attract 20,000.00??!! Shouldn't be, but apparently it is.

If the attendance is 20,000 (even with pouring rain), that is HORRIBLE.

So agree. Lets not cloud hope with reality, however. My gut (and I hope I am wrong..)...If the rain is a factor AT ALL, we are in the teens (attendance wise dirty minds) and with perfect weather we hit 22 ish. This game will not sell-out with the very best weather and therein lays the true shame.

Why would G. Wolfe II up on a recruit visit want to play for that?
