Are you sure about the QB rating for Ohio's Everson? Seems high for a QB that completed less than 50% of his passes (8 for 17) for 5 yards per completion (49 yards).
Also, I disagree with your comment about Buffalo needing to find offensive consistency. First the first time in memory, they had offensive balance and consistency against Temple- they just couldn't put it in the end zone. On one possession, they had 1st and goal from the 1 and came away with nothing. On another possession, Starts scored, but it was called back because he stepped out of bounds on the 13.
Buffalo can move the ball. It's defense only let Temple inside its 20 once during the game. It's a much more confident team under Gill. I believe it's going to be a much closer game than the point spread would indicate.

The NFL's QB ratings system is a bit quirky. There are some additional statistical variables that are used but were too boring, and space consuming, to include. Al explained it to me and the numbers did line up correctly. Myself? Technically deficient and grateful that Al gets it!
