NBC News in Toledo reporting that Big Ben had his appendix out today.
Unless the pick up another backup by then, Omar may be on the sidelines after all.
This will be very telling.
The Steelers signed ex Boston College QB Brian St. Pierre who they cut last year and the Ravens just released.
Word is that he and Omar will compete for the backup spot this week. I would think Omar would have the advantage going through all of camp.
I would disagree and bet on St Pierre. He's been in the system for a couple years and Omar is still a little confused.
