FSN OHIO TO PREVIEW THE MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE FOOTBALL SEASON WITH THE 2006 MAC GRIDIRON PREVIEW SHOW

FSN Ohio will telecast the 2006 MAC Gridiron Preview Show on Sunday,
August 27 at 1:00 pm. Hosted by FSN Ohio's Michael Reghi and Jeff
Phelps, the show will take an in-depth look at each MAC football
program, and look ahead to the upcoming season.

Re-airs of the MAC Gridiron Preview are scheduled for: September 1 at
1:00 pm, September 3 at 2:00 pm, and September 6 at 1:00 pm.

FSN Ohio's first MAC football game will feature Kent State vs. Miami on
September 16 at 2:00 pm. FSN Ohio will also feature the MAC Game of the
Week this fall, which kicks off on Saturday, September 30 at 2pm. Match
ups will be announced approximately one week prior to the game date. The remaining games are scheduled for October 7, 14, 21 and 28.
Six games is an improvement from 4 of last year
Unfortunately Chicago lost it's FSN outlet on 5/30/06! I'm sure it's content will be available through the FSN site but not over the air in northern Illinois.
Last year the MAC GOTW broadcasts were on Comcast SportsNet in Chicago, but this year those broadcast times seem to conflict with the airing of several NIU games.
It appears FSN Ohio is supporting the Game of the Week coverage with this Kent State-Miami game and if a prior schedule is correct, Kent State-Akron. FSN Ohio does this throughout the basketball schedule. While this is just a small step, I believe this is a direct benefit of no Indians games on FSN Ohio.
What channel might this be on Time Warner Cable, they bought out Aldelphia ruining the ESPN-U season for many surprised suscribers.
As far as I know with the exception of ESPNU, Time Warner has kept all of the same channel lineups for the time being. If you live in SW Ohio, it is whatever channel the Reds games are on.

Good to see FSN ohio step up and have more MAC games. Glad to see Michael Reghi doing the preview and games. He's one of the best game annoucers in the business. Cavs made a dumb move to drop him. He knows the MAC very well in football and basketball.
