Some of you closet Buckeye fans might want to know that Maurice Clarett was arrested again early Wednesday. This has to be one of the saddest cases involving a former OSU player. Somehow this has to tarnish the Buckeye
What a moron
I really don't get what's going on with him. I think about all of the potential he showed during his freshman year at OSU. Who knows what it would have been like if he had just smartened up and stayed in Columbus for a couple of years. Maybe he would have grown up a little, matured, who knows. Such a waste of talent.

The downward spiral continues...
What was he doing wearing a bullet resistant vest? On top of that he had 3-4 weapons on him. I wonder what he was up to?

"Moron" actually seems to give him too much credit. The guy is a lost cause. 01-wingedeagle

I agree Dave, it is an insult to morons everywhere.

Also, someone explain to me how this says anything good or bad about Ohio State? Yes, they recruited this guy, who was the best high school football player in the country, and yes, after many off-field problems, they kicked him off the team. Yet, some want to say an arrest 4 years later tarnishes a national title? Did OJ Simpson's murder trial tarnish anything USC or the Buffalo Bills have ever done?

Not really a lost cause...he just has to spend some serious time in a cement condo courtesy of OHIO taxpayers.... then he'll be okay....
seems pretty obvious he is out there slinging rocks or coke
surprisingly must not have found any on him

yup- you nailed that one...Dude needs to check himself before he wets himself

The thing is -is that is indicative of ALOT of guys straight out of the limelight that we NEVER hear about ...substance abuse is huge for many ( not saying that is the case here but Im betting it has something to do with it)
He just might be on nothing but dumbness.
idiot
I used to think it was wrong of OSU to turn thier back on Clarett but apparently they understood the situation better than I did. I hope this guy hits his bottom soon because this is painful watching him self-destruct. What a shame.
I don't find it painful at all. The guy was an arrogant prick that was full of himself as an 18 yr old. His whole world didn't turn out like he planned, so the solution was to do MORE of the stuff that got him in trouble. Stupidity gets no sympathy from me.

I absolutely, totally, unequivocably agree with you, Karl.
He ought to sign to play with the Bengals. They see to be putting together a pretty good prison team.
I think this does tarnish Ohio State. Mike Doss, Santonio Holmes, and Mo Clarett have been arrested 6 times combined since leaving Ohio State. That's not counting all the drug arrests, the Ross's arrest at a strip club, the bar fights. Ohio State basketball is paying 2.7 million to a coach they fired for recruiting violations. The football team's graduation rate is at the bottom of the Big Ten. AD Geiger quit before Ohio State could fire him. As Stephen A Smith says- "They got problems".

More distractions for OSU. I bet NIU and Texas can't wait to give them "bigger problems".

Well....if Stephen A Smith says so, well then......its gospel.

Considering his credibility........

Stephen A Smith a liar?
