No - it's NOT cybes using his long range weather forecasting acumen.

Just wondering out loud whether or not the weather conditions on Sept 2 favor one team over the other if the heat and humidity are factors re: playing conditions.

Does OSU run any hurry up offense?

Would speed vrs size/strength on line of scrimmage become a factor in oppesssive conditions?

Do we have enuff depth at most positions to rotate many players compared to OSU? It would be a darn shame for NIU if that's what the outcome all comes down to in the end.

Huskie D looked gassed indoors in Akron's last two possessions in MACC game.
They always say bad weather gives advantage to the "lesser skilled" team. In this case, I'd say that it us.

It was hot as hell at the Michigan and NW games too so I expect the same in Columbus.
Cybes, or should I call you MaddDawgz02(he is the weatherman)? Here is what the Old Farmers Almanac has to say:

September and October will be warmer than normal, with near-normal rainfall. September will start hot, but temperatures after the month's first week will be near normal, on average.

Maybe Madd Dawgz02 can give us his forecast(although this far out, the OFA is probably just as accurate as his forecast). Not saying you do a bad job MD02 just that this far out, it is very unreliable.

Yes, I cannot forecast that far out :) And anyone who tells you they can is not being truthful!
forget forecasting weather.

Forecast the potential effect of hot/humid weather should it occur for both teams?

How about the 11am start a plus compared to 1pm?

Even-steven break or a plus to OSU and minus to NIU because of attrrition and numbers?

I was never close enuff to the field at UM to know how hot it was but being relatively close to the field for the nite game at NU several years ago was pretty horrid for playing conditions and exhaustion.

The USF @NIU nite game years ago was pretty stifling as well.

OSU doesnt have depth on defense, in fact NIU has the edge over OSU in terms of depth on the defensive side of the ball.

Hey MD02, what is the deal with the storm growing off the SE Coast? I heard about it this morning and said they had no clue as to where it was heading but one of the paths was aparently up the East coast. Any updates? I will try to check out TWC too.

It is now a tropical storm...Tropical Storm Beryl. A tropical storm watch has been issued along eastern Long Island and parts of Connecticut and Rhode Island. However, it will not get to hurricane strength as winds are at 60 mph and probably will not get too much stronger. It could bring the center of the storm near the SE coast of Massachusetts sometime tonight or early tomorrow morning. Its track seems to be headed for Nova Scotia in Canada. So, the most dangerous thing with this storm is lots of rain.

I am under a Tropical storm watch but it looks like a near miss. But we did get a "feeder band" come through here with a few sprinkles. Oh well, better luck next time. 03-no There is still a long way to go in this hurricane season.

P.S. I am hoping for a minimal hurrican so I can say I went through a hurricane in my lifetime.
