VERY impressed with the announcers and how they are handling this game. Nothing but compliments, showing the features of the stadium and telling about the whole week of events. Looks like an overall GREAT show.

Also saw UT1 and Grandpa after a commercial.
I like how they acknowledged Chuck Ealey as a 35-0 QB

Rayburn homered as well!!

Yes, they definately had nothing but great things to say about Toledo and 5/3
Good showing, looked like a great crowd! Also gave some pub to the Jamie Farr Classic.
if a week like this going on cant kick start things in this area, i dont know what can, except maybe......................ROCKET FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a tremendous amount of photos I took from all of the events...just skimming a few :)

I almost got the ball - I was walking over to the Radisson for a stadium shot and some kids beat me to it (by a few steps). Well - it got me to the hotel quicker :) My gear must have slowed me down from top speed.

Well...haven't played since fed ball a few years ago....so I've probably lost that top-end. However, I covered way more distance to get to "the scene", so those kids had an unfair advantage.
Watched game on ESPN2. The stadium, the atmosphere everything looked good.
Excellent photo work pDoGG! The overhead shot from above and shooting down into the stadium is excellent!

The TV shot I really enjoyed showed the crowd outside the stadium watching through the iron fence. What other professional stadium allows folks to watch the game from outside the stadium for free? To me, this says a lot about the concern for the community the planners put into the overall design. Hats off to Toledo 04-rock

I was told last night that they charged $5 for that view. Monroe Street was closed, so they had some control over the area. Still, $5 ain't bad, and the view is great.

This was a $100+ view or whatever the actual going rates of rooms facing the field are :) They did not allow me on the roof for undisclosed reasons (for this day only), so they found a room for me to shoot from for a stadium shot.

Normally you can watch for free. I've gone to games that were sold out and no scalpers in sight. I was able to watch from outside the fence and nobody told me I couldn't.
No argument there. Has to be a great time.

I was simply repeating what I had heard...I can't vouch for it's accuracy.
Those area(s) were gated off with an attendant. I walked through them a couple of times getting to and from other places. They also had bleachers out there behind the fence.
Ok - here is some trivia. What were the names of the Zooperstars? Roger Clamens was one. Ken Giraffe Jr. was another. and Shark McGwire....anybody have the others???? I thought that was pretty neat the way they acted on the field. My favorite was Harry Canary. I think you can seen him in the ESPN replays and I thought he was in one of the photos as well ( I can't remember even though I just saw the photos like 2 minutes ago...)
Nope - no shots of Harry Canary ....must have just been on the ESPN replay of the last homer hit...
