Ohio State is racking in the dough. Just looking at ticket sales, if they play 6 games at home they are bringing in about $7.5 million. Figure two are non-conference games with guarantees around $500,000 so they net about $6.5 million in ticket sales after paying guarantees to the road team.

Why anyone still believes schools like OSU are playing non-professional ball is beyond me. What a joke. Maybe amateur status should be tied to how obscene the athletic revenue is, not just whether or not the athletes are being paid... above the table. ;-)
