I hopt it isn't illegal to post something basketball on this board (I'm kidding), but is anybody planning on going to the Michigan game next year in Ann Arbor?
Bleeds seems to think the game is December 9th, but don't hold me to that.
I am going to do everything I can to get to the game, who is with me?
I would love to go. I just don't know if I can. I am pretty sure there was a date given when it was first mentioned so he is probably right.
Jud said it was the week of finals. I think the 9th is somewhere in there? The 16th also sounds right. Either way it is a done deal. I can't wait to see next years bball schedule. All I'm worried about is the first MAC game being the night of the International Bowl.
I most likely will go. Its a Saturday so I don't think taking the Bus out there for the weekend would be out of the question if we could get enough people to go.

Sure you can like more then one team but if you don't see anything wrong with the leader of the NIU fan/student section showing up wearing gear of the opposing team then there isn't any hope for you. Do you realize how embarassing that would be and more importantly how disrespectful that would be towards the university and to our players. The players deserve more then this. I am glad you support the team but please see why you shouldn't do this.

What the? Of course you can be a fan of other college teams, but NIU is first in my book. I don't know about you guys, but I go here and I bleed Huskie Red & Black.
The other college team I root for is Arizona State because both my dad and bro went there. It's not like we play them in anything except baseball.
If you go to NIU and root for another team over NIU (when they play each other) you should just transfer. to the school you prefer. Just my opinion.

I'm glad someone finally gets it. I am a huge huskie fan, but the fact remains I have been a Wolverine fan since I can remember and I have only become a huge fan of the huskies over the past few years.

It's the same for me, but with a school in state and a couple of hours to the south (Champaign-Urbana). We all know who that is so we won't get into this debate again.
But being a fan, I'm not sure who I'd cheer for in a game between NIU and you know who. I'd be wearing Cardinal and black most likely.

If you want to stick around here please remember the rules. Getting around the word filter is a bannable offense. We don't want you banned. Second, it is disappointing to us that you would wear Michigan clothing to the game but it is your right to do it. Just hope Judson doesn't see you.

100% serious, if you are the head of NIU student section and you show up to the game wearing gear and rooting for the other team then I see a problem there. I don't know how you can't see a problem with that. You can root for other teams, many people do, not a big deal and I understand. I do have a problem though if you show up in the student section wearing the opposing teams colors. So go ahead wear a Michigan shirt to spite everyone, thats a good way to protest. Heck, tattoo UofI on your chest just to get back at the NIU fans that care about the university and donate their azzes off to improve it. You really showed us.
