NIU was surprising, we started a lot of brand new sophomores and freshmen on defense. We will be a lot more experienced next season on defense. I expect very little impact to our offensive numbers, maybe a bit down b/c we lost some key players, but NIU always has a good offensive line. Even then, our more experienced D will be able to make up for a little less production in our offense, if it comes to that.
Not too shabby for the Rockets considereing it was new Defense and Offense Coordinators.Rockets should be even better this defensively
after adjusting to the new system-stronger,quicker,more depth.
Ohio defense was torched against the pass last year. The pass rush was weak and that led to qb picking apart the zone defense that the Solich deployed last year. With more experience at safety this year perhaps that will change. Bobcats lose Bynum at corner, but TJ Wright, another pick off artist in the secondary, returns.
