According to BallStateSports... "Micah Rollin, a 6-foot-10, 260-lb. center, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Ball State University"

He's down from 350 in HS, and was listed at 285 last year. Not a lot of stats (apparently had some injuries), but he evidentially impressed some people when he was in town last week. He comes from CSI, which is where Steve Flint (our new assistant) came from.

He ranks #60 on the hoopscooponline top JUCO list going into 2005. He was recruited by Fresno State and Ohio State before selecting the Cards. According to the Fresno message boards, they thought he was all but signed to play there.

i was hoping thompson could work a little magic to salvage next year for bsu. i'd rather see the mac strong even if it's a rival school.

toledo just got shane ross apparantly. he's a solid looking forward who was headed to kent but the ncaa said their academic and transfer issues were grounds for cutting scholarships.

at least the league is getting/keeping a few quality guys in the late period. let'd see what ramsey comes up with for emu. i expected him to have a good class, but they've been quiet. niu and bg have decent but not spectacular classes. western stand out so far.

any word on miami or akron?
