With both Dan and Phil dinged up, Ullrich leaving, Davis moving to wide receiver, do we have enough depth at quarterback for next year. I know Billy Lowe is coming in. Tyler Knight is walking on(although I did not think it was for QB). We went from loaded with 4 quality players to 2 banged up veterans. If either Dan or Phil is out for an extended period of time, who will be the back up?
As much as I hate to say it, it would have to be Billy Lowe. Not meaning I wouldn't like to see Billy play, but I'd rather see him redshirt and be the true future of the program @ QB.

Lets just hope our QB's get healthy and stay that way so Billy can grow, mature and get ready to be everything that I think he can be on the field of play. ( he really needs to have a redshirt year)

Hey, dad... What area of Billy's game do you feel is his strongest and which area do you feel he needs to improve upon the most? Curious to get your opinion.

That may be a good question to 'PM' pops about. There are way too many eyes scouring these boards for any intelligence that they can gain from.

Billy Lowe is NOT the the future of this program.

The future is NOW! We are driving to be MAC CHAMPS NOW! We are not waiting for 08' or 09'.

It is either Dan or Phil. I favor a healthy DAN, but I am sure I can live with someone who completes 70% of his passes and has a TD/INT ratio of 2:1.

I think I know what you are saying, the Huskies need to win now and I agree but I still think that in order to have any future at QB a redshirt year would be the way to go for Billy. The Huskies have two very good QB's that can get us where we need to be this year and I support both of them. Who knows what will happen but it looks like we will have at least two good QB's healthy for the start of the season and two walk-ons and then Billy as a red shirt if everythings goes as planned.
