they have to rememeber, 12-5 matchups are the one's that can have the upsets. wasn't kent a 12 when they went to the elite eight? but, i have you shocking pitt to advance to face kansas in the 2nd round. i should respect you, you killed UT on the boards in the championship game!

I only have to go here to reminisce about Ball State's last encounter with the Panthers in the NCAA tournament. I'm sure the Pitt fans thought would end very similarly to what they said above about Kent, but...



and here to note that Pitt is 1-3 against the MAC in NCAA tournament play, including a loss in 2002 to Kent.

Close... we were a 10 seed that year, but i believe at least one 12 beats a 5 just about every year and if you look at the other match ups, i like our shot!!!!!

I hope pitt's team overlooks us just like their fans are. We're actually 8-7 lifetime against them. They don't have room to talk..

just watch out for you players. you guys don't want carl krauser poking out the eyes of youngblood or haynes!

I picked this upset in the 1st round, but unfortunatley losing in the 2nd round. Hopefully Kent makes it to the Elite 8 again.
