Rumor on message board related to UW-Whitewater (an alma mater of mine) is that Huskie O-lineman Kevin Serfort (6-4, 298) will be playing at Whitewater this fall. He is from Oak Creek, WI. I admit I haven't heard of him before. I don't think he has played much, if at all, has he? Does anyone know if he is a walk-on or scholarship? GCD? O-linedad?
2-star recruit in 2003 that was on scholarship per Rivals. I would hate to lose a good lineman if that is the case. And you wonder if Jon Brost has something to do with his departure.

I beleive he's on scholarship. He had limited playing time in '04 and had shoulder surgery in January '05. Don't think he got on the field much if at all this past season. I did hear he seemed to be strugling a bit with winter conditioning. I'd hate to see him go if you're right.
if accurate = what does that - and other changes like them elsewhere - say in hindsight re: validity of the ranking of the past recruiting classes each spring ?
If this is true, chalk up another transfer under the Judson regime. 05-stirthepot

I'll post the source of the rumor....a high school kid from Oak Creek that was recruited by Whitewater and says he will be playing at Whitewater also (Oakcreekstud73...about four posters down)

If true, Serfort will be leaving one great RB in Wolfe to block for the leading rusher in all of college football last year...Justin Beaver...not too shabby!

On a side note (because you will see it if you view the link above), Whitewater decided not to take Booker Stanley....the running back kicked off the team by the Badgers...I good move on their part I think...no need to ruin the good thing they have going right now with that guy's problems

Please dont' try to compare a Heisman candidate with a Division 3 player.

The Huskies graduated 3 Olineman and with the injuries that can occur, the HUskies need all the Olineman they have.

With the HUskies graduating 3 Olineman last year and the injuries that can happen, the HUskies need all the Olinemen they have. Seifort could end up getting PT here.
