Plz describe the KSU bball court.

Is it a remodeled older facilty? Is the space often shared for other athletic dept events like wrestling/gymastics? Is it used to host concerts?

Are fans close to sidelines? Is it loud with alot of character?

Does it offer alot of game day atmosphere/excitement for fans?

Is it like our newer, sterile, empty and dark Convocation Center?

Do many students go nutz for the Flushes? oops- I'm only messin' with ya - no disrespect intended. You own the bball Huskies like a house pet. Are many season tix holders, KSU employees, alums & townfolks attending games ? How often are games sold out and what is the capacity?

What one single victory on home court is most memorable?

Do many Kent students commute daily or leave on weekends?

Some commute daily and most of the others leave on weekends. The arena was remodeled in the early 90s, but it is close to high school more than anything. They have end-zone bleachers behind each basket. About 10 rows of chairbacks all the way across opposite the benches. I would guess about 3,500 of 6,000 capacity are located up top in bench seating on both sides of the court. Pretty much season ticket holders fill up the lower levels along each sideline. A lot of older alums come to all of the games. What we are really lacking is families, but I suppose you see that everywhere with high school events almost nightly. The attendance is mostly students and old folks.

Wrestling is contested on the basketball floor. Gymnastics is held in the building but only on the basketball floor for nights like Senior Night. Volleyball also plays on the basketball court in the fall.
