Could beating Akron be a curse in disguise for you? Consider the following. Teams that have beaten Akron are a combined 23-24 since their Akron wins. Not bad you say? Well then consider that the four teams who have done it outside of you were Louisville, Cal, Clemson and OU. Now we all know about OU's slide since they beat Akron by three in their place. Three double digit loses combined with a double overtime thriller that they pulled out in BG. This from a team that was expected to cruise through the MAC. Then consider Louisville, once a top rated team in the country that is now struggling for air in the Big East since beating Akron. Clemson has gone a whopping 3-8 since winning against Akron in the finals of the San Juan Shootout. Cal has probably the best record at 9-5 since beating the Zips early in the season but went 1-2 immediatley following their win against us. Coincidence? Yeah, probably, but it is something to think about.
Akron fans. They're like Marshall fans, but without the intellect.

The best argument you can make against these new Zip fans is just to let them post freely in the little box we created for them. They are their own worst enemies, as this thread once again demonstrates.

The Herd posters may have been a lot of things you seem to be: semi-literate, bitter, lacking logic, obsessed with attendance, alternately persecuted and persecuting, and -- most of all -- front-running, but at least they could make a semi-coherent slam on opposing team posters.

Hey man, I still think its a coincidence. I really thought about putting this in the regular Kent board b/c I'm not trying to smack here. It just makes ya think. And btw our dance ticket is in our own hands. Noone from the MAC is getting an at-large bid this year even with Laing on the board there.
