between Lafayette and Baton Rouge, please stop by and visit our new Lousiana Welcome Center located at exit 121 (Butte LaRose). The Atchafalaya Welcome Center opened on June 18th and is not your "usual" welcome center. In addition to the maps, and other literature that welcome centers usually have it also contains museum-quality exhibits, animatronics and video theatre presentation. I encourage anyone interested in Louisiana History and/or culture to stop by and take a few minutes to look around. If you have young children they will really enjoy it. Was glad to see Crawfish at the welcome center yesterday as well as get to meet Mrs. Fish', hope the rest of you get a chance to stop by as well. :)
