NFL has their own new TV package starting Thanksgiving night and Saturday nights (after T'giving). Story announced yesterday, I believe.

That should be reason enough to move the MACC from Thursday night to Friday night.

Seems better to move to ESPN2 and go up against the NBA game rather then the NFL on Thursday.

I would prefer Saturday, but Friday would be better.

I wouldn't count out Wednesday.

Isn't the NBA on Wed and Friday? (gee, I'm not sure of the night other then Friday).

I really believe the MAC and ESPN realize that Thursday night doesn't work well esp. this year with one team 175 miles away and the other over 350.

I would believe that we are going to have to bend over and take it from ESPN again next year. Especially since they like doing their Thursday night prime time college football games.

By thanksgiving, the games are over. So it shouldn't affect anything anyways.

for the MACC - not the conference season.

I just don't think ESPN and the MAC want to go up against the NFL!
