A bigger point is that WE need to sell out the MACC and keep all but a handful of zippies with the allocated tickets out. The MACC is OUR HOUSE and we need to give the zippies a rude and unwelcome greeting. They are feeling very full of themselves these days and WE need to remind them of who RULES the MAC©! Especially in b-ball!
Someone at Kent State set me up with a "Screw The Roo" shirt. The graphics must be seen to be believed. One hint is that it's not the Roo's face that's featured as in Akron's graphic.
I understand the shirts are selling fast and creating quite a buzz on campus.

I agree. In addition, everyone that is relatively close should consider buying their ticket for the game @ Akron March 4th, the last regular season game. We always seem to show pretty well there. A couple of times I swear the ratio was like 50/50.

also the guy explained to me who is making the shirt he couldnt use the graphic from the akron shirt because it would be a copyright infringement he had to change the shirt 20% the shirts are still cool looking we need a lot more people buying them so like i said email me and i will be more then happy to meet you in kent anytime this weekend and on sunday i should be free around 1 maybe meet in the student center before the game.

You Kent fans are pretty pathetic. I would think after the run of basketball success that you could come up with something better to pump yourselves up that a derivative of an Akron marketing slogan. The only people who openly address their rivals in this light are ones who feel extremely threatened. But hey, if our football team had gone over a year without a win over a division one opponent and was beaten 8 of the last 9 years by "its" rival then I would feel threatened.

It's a shame Akron got wind of such an original slogan. I mean even BG fans thought it was a great idea as they showcased it in Anderson. It worked well too, as our team escaped once again with a W. Such a wonderful suprise it would have been.

You would think that the flushes would spend sometime working on their football team hoping to make a big step up and may be win a MAC game next year... Or you would think that they would come out with a slogan to cheer their team...
That's what smart people (with college education) would do but the flashes rather spend their time figuring out how to make a t-shirt to ridicule other teams slogans.

A fraternity and a student group came up with the slogan and the T Shirt design. Since neither one can imrove the football program, no need to worry about a misdirection of time. Plus, they came up with a nice little fund raiser for them and a slogan tihat's sweeping the MAC.
So what your saying is that the rest of the MAC enjoys wearing a giant ass on their shirt too?
