Unfortunately the author doesn't do commits beyond the top 15.

My take, BG has a soft verbal for a top dozen (Young) and another top kid (#21 Brighton, I think is his name).

CMU did very, very well and EMU very well. WMU only has a few.

BSU has one and I'm not aware of any other MAC school (yep, including UT) with a MI kid.
#19 OL Jeff Maddux took an official visit to Miami this past weekend and will decide between Michigan State, Cincinnati or Miami.

Toledo has stayed away from Michigan quite a bit the last couple of years. It's no secret that the talent level in Michigan hasn't been as strong. Last year we did get a couple of Michigan kids, and they were both Top 50 in the state, but this year I don't think we will get any. We are getting A LOT of Ohio and PA kids this year and there seems to be a lot of talent in those states this year. I've heard reports that Ohio is as strong as it has been in 10 years.

There is a lot of talent in Ohio and Penn every year.

Yes there is, especially Ohio. But like I said, I am hearing that Ohio is talented beyond the usual and PA just might be too.
success in Ohio and Penn.

I'm not one to suggest that CMU and EMU are 'forcing' UT out of MI (I'm not that naive).

Having said that, I am HAPPY that a lot of MAC and bigger schools (other then obviously UofM and MSU) are pretty much staying out of MI (this year and last) allowing CMU and EMU to concentrate on their natural recruiting base.

I can remember the days where a ton of schools from outside of MI would recruit MI hard and EMU would have a hard time in its own backyard.
