if we can just lose a few more of the next games then perhaps our RPI can really improve and get down to top 25.

If we lose we won't be moving toward top 25 but down toward 100.

How can we be rated so high when we haven't even played a Top 25 team yet?
And we are 3-3 against Teams rated #50-100, which makes us 4-2 against teams that rank lower than #101, plus 1 game against a Div III team. What is so impressive about this ?

Doesn't mean anything, we still aren't going to get an at large, since as conference play goes on (we play teams from the west division) our RPI will tumble. I just hope we win this pathetic west division to get ourselves in decent position to maybe make a run in the MAC Tournament.

Warrennolan.com which is more accurate has NIU at 69th. I think that is much more realistic.

RobertN,
I was seeking to be sarcastic rather than factual about losing yet improving the RPI for NIU. I was mocking the rating system as well.
