Well im sorry optimism for what has been a great year of basketball thus far bothers you. But you can continue to say this team sucks all the way until NIU wins the MAC tourney. Im convinced now some people just are only happy if NIU remains down in the dumps in basketball, and that some people can't stand this success. I'll never understand it because it is definitely not a threat to your Illini, NIU isnt even in the same conference.

Blowing a 15 point lead to Miami (OH) at home, the loss to a "transitional" D 1-A team in North Dakota State, the rebounding breakdown that led to a tip in and loss at UIC, going down by 40 large at Mizzou State, who was blown out of the building tonight, or tonight at Akron, where we played no defense and were blown out in the 2nd half.

First off, it wasnt a 15 pt lead vs Miami-OH. The loss at UIC was due to a blown call at the end of the game. Missouri State we got beat bad, but the team was just beginning to gell and plus Missouri St is a realllllllllllllly good team this year. North Dakota St is one of the up and coming programs in Div I and there is NO SHAME in losing to them on a neutral court after travelling halfway across the country with half the team sick. Well tonight you played what should be a top 25 team on the road, and newsflash for you... beating top 25 teams on the road is not an easy task in college basketball. Just quit distorting the truth, thats what gets me upset.
