Barry Temkin of Tribune in his 2006 forecast wrote somewhat sarcastically that in Feb IHSA to announce NIU to host state football finals as association wanted program located at best college program in Illinois.
He also made alot of other crazy forecasts.
I really don't foresee see it happening. In the Land of Lincoln and Clout - politicals will play a the deciding role and there is NO WAY IN HELL, influential UI alums will allow it to happen.
