After watching the NCAA football championship, I realized for the first time how deeply Bush and his cronies have infiltrated our everyday lives. No longer is GW satisfied with playing GI Joe with his buddies(using real soldiers of course). He has now gone to playing PS2 NCAA 2006, using real college football teams. Like going to war with Iraq, I believe GW had planned since day 1 to position the University of Texas for a national championship. Like the war in Iraq it was much more difficult than he thought. It seems however GW has infiltrated enough of college football, indeed all of college sports, to have his way.

GW's influence is spreading every day. King George will not be satisfied until the State of Texas brings home all sports titles. Is it only coincidence that during GW's time as President that the state of Texas has put a baseball team in the World Series for the first time ever? Or how about San Antonio winning the NBA title last season? Hell Baylor won the 2005 women's NCAA BBAll championship. Now Texas winning their first football championship in more than 30 years?

What does the Bush Administration have on the replay official the championship game? They must be holding something over his head.
And don't tell me Reggie Bush tossing the ball to a Texas player at the Texas 20 was not orchestrated by the Bush Administration.

I am beginning to think that somehow, someway GW did cause Hurricane Katrina, not only to capitalize on the now condemned property, but to allow the Saints a convenient excuse to move to Texas.

For all of you Constitutional Conservatives out there....you should be very worried about the power our President seems to possess. Just wait until he suspends the presidential election in 2008....then you will see King George.

And all our champions will be from Texas!
Anyone else have the same trouble reading this that I did? Everytime I came across GW, I automatically subbed the name Garrett Wolfe out of habit.

It was difficult but I think he was making fun of "liberals" for saying everything is Bush's fault.
Sorry about the GW reference, I can see how that would make it difficult.

For the record I am not a fan of Bush, the post was definately tounge and cheek, but was trying to illustrate, in a humourous way, the fact that this President is assuming much more power than any previous President and this can not be left unchecked.

End of Political Statement.

That's all a bunch of bull. Like NH said, if you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about. I don't get why people think so negatively about it. In order for President Bush to help preserve those "constitutional rights" you speak of every American citizen having you have to give some freedom to get. Its a give-take relationship. You can't have the "whole" cake and eat it too. Personally, the Patriot Act is the best thing we have come up with domestically for fighting terrorism!
Just because I'm not a terrorist doesn't mean I want some power hungry government invading my privacy. And this comes from a moderate republican.
