Doubt anyone cares but Kent State's has been changed completely. They will open season at home against Minnesota (at Dix on first Thursday or possibly Fawcett on first Saturday. They also play at Vandy and Army before the end of September. A game with Temple appears to be the 12th game, but that still seems up in the air.

WMU
Temple (TBD)
@ Iowa (Sept 2)
@ Virginia (Sept 16)
@ Florida State (Nov 11)
* However, there's been some rumors floating around that Iowa's going to be replaced, but I haven't seen anything official on that yet.

Our LSU game has been pushed back until 2010 I believe. It appears that everybody is playing Temple this year. Our info about Temple came from a pretty reliable source on our board so I am fairly confident we play them.

I believe Temple is supposed to play 5 or 6 MAC teams in 2006. Toledo isn't one of them though. We host McNeese State and Kansas and play at Iowa State and Pittsburgh. We start with 3 BCS teams and then get the McNeese State game to prepare for conference play.

While playing tOSU, Iowa and LSU would give us a shot at going to a BCS bowl, that schedule would just be killer and make it difficult to win the MAC, which of course is the teams goal.

Lots of people care because we could all use some wins to get some recognition for the MAC.

FYI, John Chaney will retire this year opening up Temple to become full member of the MAC. Next year the BB team will play evey MAC team.

It would be better if Toledo played McNeese St. before they play Kansas, Pitt, and Iowa St.

I haven't seen anything about the Kentucky game, although that would be another winnable nonconference game for us. Michigan, Temple, and Illinois are on the CMU site as 2006 opponents.
