I've seen him play a few times on TV. I really liked his ability to shoot the trey.

Speculation is that it is academics.
Pilipovich who did our Ohio recruiting tried.
I'm not a real knowledgable Bball person but general consensus on the zip board is that this loss hurts but not that bad. Bubba doesn't get a whole lot of minutes and his defense is lackluster on a good day. Zips could have much worse losses.

It is not an academic issue by the way. At least that is what I am told.

I had a chance last week to speak with Coach P when I was filling in on WAAM and he seems to have settled in real nicely in his new job and is enjoying himself. I think everybody connected with EMU was glad to see that he was able to stay in the area and land on his feet.

Hey QuickZips -

We just had Ray Mernagh from HoopFactor.com on the MAC Report tonight and he backs up what you heard. It does not appear to be an academics issue but a good ole fashioned not seeing eye-to-eye situation. Walther wanted a different role and so he decided to leave.
