Just received this from the Akron SID --- looks like a solid turnout in Detroit on Monday. Well Done!

"Our fans have truly answered the call to get behind our Mid-American
Conference Champions in Detroit,
Great job Ziparoos. Make sure your team
brings its A game.
04-bow show all those doubters what Akron and the MAC is all about!
Bandwagoners? Hell yeah. But you know what. I will take em. Even if 1/4 or 1/2 of them start coming back to games on a regular basis it will be good for this team. This is how you start to put attendance issues to bed.
Wonder what they are bringing?
Good job Zips!!! :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:
Good to see the Akron fans step it up and make the committment to back the Zips in Detroit.
That's excellent news.

Hey, it starts with the bandwagon, but that's okay. Winning's what gets folks interested. If they have fun, they'll stay interested win or lose.
Impressive showing, Zips!

Hey some of todays bandwagon jumpers are tomorrows diehards. You're dead on that this could be a big step for the Zip fanbase.
It's nice to see the Zips outselling the Big Ten's pride and joy, Michigan. The following was taken from today's Detroit Free Press:

Michigan has only sold about half its allotment somewhere near 6,000, Fox said.

I'm looking forward to the game. Go MAC!!!
Great job on selling alottment Zips!
That is surprising that Michigan has sold only 6K tickets to play Nebraska, you would think that playing a well known program would bring out more than 6k.

It will be great to see a full stadium on Monday. lmfao 05-stirthepot
All this talk about the ZIPS!

We're starting to blush 8-)
