Offensive lineman commits to Temple
only a two star recruit but also offered by rutgers.
"Charles Smith, a 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive lineman from C.H. Flowers High School in Springdale, Md., has orally committed to play football at Temple.
Smith's decision will become official on college football's national signing day, Feb. 1. Smith, who visited Temple last weekend, was also considering Virginia."
only a two-star? Good one for Temple. Geez, the kid hasn't graduated high school and is already 320. At 6-6, I tremble to think how big he'll be after a year or two of strength and conditioning work.
I say only two stars because I am used to being berated for evey single post i make. (our big east "friends")
This guy is an awesome pick up, all DC metro lineman ... I find it most intresting the the recruiting services list him as only intrested in and offered by rutgers while the media clip say she was going to go to virginia... I do wonder if virginia offered him and how the hell Golden could convince him to skip the ACC and join the Temple ship.

A couple of years ago Toledo has a guy named Erik Faasen that was 6-9 and 353 pounds. He graduated in either 2003 or 2004....my memory is fading. ;-)
Last year was his senior year.

I pity the defensive tackle that lines up against him if Coach Gilbert can coach him into a dominating lineman.
He also got a verbal from one of the best linemen in Florida. Coach Gilbert is putting together an awesome line. Thanks again for him
