UT wins big over St. Bonaventure...nice win for the Rockets!

BG fell behind Florida State, 14-2, and has now tied it at 21-21 with 6:55 to go in the first half. nice comeback!
BG down 2 at the half

JC transfer Samarco has 19 of BG's 28 points in the half. Hopefully he can keep it up.
Samarco is looking good as I believe they are at full strength for the first time tonight? Anyone know if that is correct? Up 2 in the 2nd half right now on Florida State...

Toledo gets a W over St. Bonny, ball State and Ohio get wins over a couple of DII schools and NIU blows a huge opportunity in a loss to Illinois-Chicago. Man I wish the Huskies had pulled that game out!
Falcons' valiant comeback falls short against FSU. nice way to hang in there and compete after falling behind so much and so early. it appears BG may indeed have a say in how things fall out in the MAC.
You are correct, this is the first night with BG at full strength. Hopefully they can build on this game going into the MAC.

We all hoped we could pull the game out and we came close. I would hardly call it "blowing a huge opportunity" though. Our 2 teams are usually well matched rivalry game and more times than not it comes down to the end. It is one of those "bragging rights" games.
Nothing personal was meant, I just hate seeing MAC teams, especially those expected to be at or near the top of the standings, lose to Horizon and similar teams.
today (Sunday)'s game...

Central has made a BG-like comeback at home versus Southern Illinois...only down 55-53 with 3:55 left. would be a huge win if CMU can pull it off.
Chippewas couldn't quite pull it off as SIU pulled away down the stretch...64-54 final score.

tomorrow BG is at Troy and Akron is in San Juan playing Mt. St. Mary's.
