Here is what I have been able to pull together thus far on who the candidates are for the UB spot, but I have no real inside track on who the favorites are, etc...but indications seem to point toward Gill.
1) Turner Gill - Green Bay Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development
2) Charlie Strong - Florida Assistant HC/Co-def coordinator
3) Jeff Monken - Navy Assistant Coach - Slot Backs
4) Joe DeLamielleure

Hey guys. The media in Buffalo says Gill is on campus today and Wednesday for interviews (link below). I can't imagine he would come up here if he wasn't interested or if money was a huge obstacle. This would be a great hire if it happens. Gill would get some publicity for a struggling program since he is a well known former player and of course a minority candidate. Rumors circulating on the UB board claims a "local legend" is also in the running but i have no clue who that could be? (Marv Levy? Joe Delamalluire?)
