Maybe instead of bad mouthing each other, we can rag on OSU, the most successful pro hoop team in Ohio. 04-chairshot

I haven't been following this very closely, but court cases have a strange way of revealing things otherwise not know to mere mortals.
Thanks for the opportunity to write that I really, really hope Notre Dame 04-chairshot the Buckeyes on January 2.

Not basketball, but from the press, the whole athletics department at Ohio State seems out of control.
Wow wouldn't that be AWESOME if tOSU had the "death penalty" imposed upon it! LOL "God's gift to collegiate athletics!" lmfao
As mean as this may be, I would love to see them go on NCAA probation and lose this Greg Oden kid from Indiana. He is supposed to be the next LeBron James and ESPN televised a high school game of his the other night. Both WTAM 1100 and WKNR 850 in Cleveland bring up how awesome he is all of the time never mentioning MAC schools.

mean or not, i'm with you, buddy! i would love to see them lose that guy. of course, we all know he's only going to be there one year anyway, but for him to be there NO years would be even better!
Any time a coach comits a direct violation it should be automatic ban of tv, scholarships, and postseason play. The school is responsible for whom they hire as head basketball coach. Ohio State's excuse is that they didn't know. Ofcourse they didn't know, but neither did Baylor, UNLV, Georgia, Fresno State. Tulane, Northwestern and Arizona State didn't know about their players fixing games in the past either.

I agree, but the penalty should also follow the direct violator (the coach or AD) to make the penalty meaningfull. We have all seen coaches (who will remain unamed to protect the guilty) get 2nd chances and repeat this at a new school ; hosing their original school and players. Also the players should be able to transfer without penalty. Then you would see a crackdown!! 05-mafia
