Not an impressive team, but the win over CSU had a 15 margin with most starters on the bench for the last ten minutes. Four guys in double figures and one double double. IBOG, I'd be real interested in what the "not easy" part of that win was?
Maybe it is just me, but I prefer this one. :D

that's a cool site! it has "win probabilities" at the bottom of the teams' individual pages. it rates the probability right now of winning future games. it says right now Ohio has a 59.3% chance of beating UK! pretty cool! hehe NIU fans will love that it says Ohio has only a 26.9% chance of winning in Dekalb next month. and UB fans will love that it says we have only a 44.7% chance of winning out there in January. it will be fun to track these percentages as the season rolls on. thanks for showing that link, RobertN!

You have to thank Toledo's favorite NIU poster(besides myself) MaddDawgz02. He posted it on our board and I just brought it over. But I am sure he is happy to provide it. :)
I love these power rankings. I wonder if ESPN.com answers their critics...

How much were the Flashes down by in the 1st half of the game @ YSU? That is why I have "not easy." They made an impressive comeback which I am happy about, but the justification is there.
Quote:Wins over YSU and CSU this week were expected but not easy

Look familiar? To answer your question, the Flashes were down 16 to YSU at Youngstown and came back to win by 5 or 6 ( something like that margin). Ironically, Akron was down by 16 to the Penguins at Akron when the Zips came back to win by 5. YSU may be the most talented winless team in Ohio. They have a great guard in Quin Humprey, and lost again by 5 points Saturday.

You still didn't answer my question about what was "not easy" about the CSU game. Christian pulled most of his starters with a 20+ point lead with 7:57 left. Guess he could have gone for the bigger blow out to impress you. Instead he gave a young and suprisingly impressive bench needed experience and rested two leaders, Youngblood and Warz, with sore backs. I'll take the 15 point win. That's why I wonder about your "not easy" comment. Care to explain?
It was a general statement that I made knowing they were behind by a large margin in one of the games. What do you want me to say?
What a difference a road win over a top 125 team can do. Ohio goes from rpi 200 to rpi top 80 in all most every site. Ohio win move way up if they can beat URI on Saturday. Not an easy road game vs an A-10 that looks like they could contend this year judging by their results so far.
Don't even bother FlashFan.

These are the same guys who trashed the MAAC when UB beat Canisius and Niagara. 01-wingedeagle

I never trashed UB when they beat those schools and neither did our site. While my name may say Ohio in it I am a MAC fan supporting the conference and work on a conference Web site so that is my primary focus. What other Ohio fans say on this board have no bearing on our site whatsoever.

Anyone who says I trashed UB for beating those schools is 100% misinformed.

And people seem to forget, that Miami plays sUCks in USBank Arena, not Millett. (Yea, it's a "home" game?)01-wingedeagle If Miami can make it outta the X, Wichita State, UM, UC, NIU stretch 2-3 I'll be VERY happy. 2 wins over ANY of those schools is gonna be a pain this year.

Agreed. Miami has the toughest OOC schedule in the MAC this year and if Charlie can keep his kids confident through that stretch they will be a force come conference play.

yeah i thought you might like that one! we're going to have two great games against each other this year...the first one is at OU on a Sunday afternoon. the Convo should be rockin'!

i'm really excited to see how the MAC does this Saturday against some strong competition. OU, Miami, Kent State, Buffalo...these teams all have tough games but they are all winnable if we all play well. Akron has the toughest test at U of L but you never know what might happen in college hoops!

I would be willing to say OU has a better shot than even 59.3%. I have not been impressed by UK at all so far this early season. They are a weak rebounding team that doesn't seem to ave many quality shooters. Plus, UK has lost a lot of leadership from last year, so I think Ohio could have a definite edge over UK this year when the meet in Cincinnati.

From your fingers to God's ears!

yeah UK seems to be struggling a lot so far this year, but it's still UK...a lot of pride there. would be a huge win for Ohio and the MAC if we can pull it off. i'll be there screaming my head off for the Ohio 'Cats!
