I have just added a new article entitled "A great time to be a Zip" on VanDelaySports.com. You can find it on the headline link about the Zips stunning NIU for the MAC Championship. That page is a page that I mentioned in another thread where I am gathering articles about the Akron football team and their improbable and exciting march toward the MAC title.

Feel free to post your thoughts on "A great time to be a Zip" below.

Frye had a good game in that first start today, too. Didn't pick up the win, but showed Browns fans a look at the future.
I believe Frye vs. Roethlisberger is next up.
Yeah, Charlie looked real good. Better than hobblelong Dilfer. Unfortunatley god still hates the Browns as Braylon Edwards is out with what appears to be an ACL injury. It's some kind of bad knee injury if nothing else. 03-banghead 03-banghead 03-banghead and the worst part is that Charlie and him had hooked up for 2 TD passes in the game.
Losing Braylon really hurts the Browns. The first half yesterday saw the Browns get Droughns over 1000 yds for the season, the 1st RB to do so fro Cleveland in 20 years. Add on their rookie QB hits their rookie WR for 2 first-half TD's and all looks well in Cleveland. Then a rough 2nd half and losing Braylon appraently for the season.

Romeo said the starting QB for Sunday @ Cincy will be a game-time decision. We have to think Frye earned another start...
Maybe someone has already mentioned this in another thread, but when I was at the gym this morning, I noted that Berman said that the Zips were the top college of the week, with the conference championship and Frye getting highlights in the top 10 plays of the week, as well as the soccer team getting a nice mention all in one nice little segment (plays 6 and 7, I think). I wasn't timing it, but the university probably got a good 2-3 minutes total. Well played...
