Offensive Coordinator Interns With Green Bay Packers

Mean Green Offensive Coordinator Ramon Flanigan took advantage of a unique opportunity over the summer, interning with the Green Bay Packers as a part of the NFL’s Minority Coaching Fellowship Program from July 25 to August 8.



Flanigan attended the Packers training camp held in Green Bay, Wis., where he worked on the staff of the Packers along side long-time Green Bay receivers coach Ray Sherman.



In charge of many of the same duties he has here at North Texas, Flanigan supervised workouts, broke down game film and evaluated some of the NFL’s most talented receivers, such as Donald Driver, Javon Walker and Robert Ferguson.



Flanigan said that while the approach to the game is different at the professional level, the internship showed him that North Texas is at the forefront when it comes to coaching.
