From what Ive heard, hes been a pleasant surprise in camp, but I've also been stoked since I found out he played punk rawk when he was out in cali and hopefully, I can find him somewhere, and get him to one of our shows.

You mean like he was/is in a band? It would be cool to find out. There's always been a strong punk scene out here. Anyway, it'd be good to see a kid from PCC make good for the Cajuns!
Yea, he played in a band when he lived in california, but gave it up to play football. I think he will do extremly well out here. The more I hear about him, the more confident I am that if our starter goes down, we will have a more than qualified backup with him.

I thought Luke looked very good yesterday as well as Desormeaux. Especially considering they neither have much experience with the system. Luke has the advantage of being older and having gone through the spring. I did not mention Babb (he looked good also) because I think we all know what he can do. We have better QB depth now than in a very long time. Even better we only lose 1 guy after this season (Lane). In 2005 Babb will be a Jr., Luke a Sr., and Mike a So. or RS-Fr.
I read an article in the big paper a while ago and I noticed that he said that the three running backs looked good . He menotioned one by the name of Dechad Ward. I was just wondering who this guy is and where does he come from. What high school did he attend and how big is this running back? Thanks!!!!

I have kept all of my Louisiana Football Magazines since 2000. I found that Dechad Ward was one of the 2001 Best of the Rest running backs. He has gained 20 lbs. since high school but hasn't grown any taller. I sure hope that he turns out to be a real good back. I guess he was a walk-on.
Many thanks for the information about Ward.
