From the old days of dueling with the Knight Time, I am happy that the Zips did not allow the Knights to win the race to get off the Never Been To A Bowl List.

With Arkansas State and USF, actually four teams get off the schneid.

Only one MAC team now has never been to a bowl, but they have enough problems, so I won't mention them by name. The other 1-A bowl-free teams are now reduced to, basically, all of the Sun Belt except North Texas and Troy. And New Mexico State.

Yeah. The year after EMU, I believe. They played in California.

I dunno, kinda has a nice little ring to it. Zips going bowling. I like it!

Bowling has always been the #1 sport in Akron.
