I'm sitting here watching Sports Center and they're hyping the MSU/Gonzaga and UT/BG games as part of "Overtime Tuesday."

Me thinks if the game was Saturday folks wouldn't even know...

Kind of hard to go against UofM/OSU, PSU/MSU and FSU/USC and the like.

Heck we even got some TV time for a local (Bowling Green) squirrel.
An occasional mid-week game is fine, but do we really need four games as we have this week?

Tomorrow's game between NIU and WMU starts at 12:30 CST. I don't think many housewives will be giving up on their soap operas to tune into ESPN2.

In the end the folks who get screwed are the diehard MAC fans that can't make it to the game in person because of the days and times.
Die-hards will find away, Even with sat, something always pops up & you have to miss a game. I cringe during the summer every time invitation is in the mail.
yeah, hasn't anyone heard of annual leave?

The only game in question really is NIU/WMU. Wednesday before T'giving is a good day to blow off work anyway.

It was a rabbit, city boy.

(At least that's the way it looked from the 33rd row).

I agree, today is a blow-off day (unless you work for Kathy Lee). I'm gettin' outta here and going to the bar in 10 minutes. Go Broncos!!!! It's a great way to start a long weekend!

Indeed. The announcers had some fun with it, showing the rabbit's stats (four TDs ... since it ran into the end zone four times) and, I think, 90 yards rushing.
I agree emu_steve, last night's game was a great example why we play mid week conference games.
