Also, it's been posted that Toledo will receive a GMAC bowl offer if they win this week.....is that true, and, if, so, will WMU get consideration for the MCB if they beat NIU to go 8-3 so long as the MAC East champ loses to Toledo in the MACC?

According to the UT AD office, GMAC Bowl officials will be at the UT/NIU game but they are not aware of any plans by those officials to invite Toledo if we win the game.
Apparently the rumors are just rumors. Of course, it could still happen and the UT AD office just doesn't want to say anything about it.

I always thought that, by contract, the Motor City Bowl has "first dibs" on the MAC selection. Therefore, I can't see the GMAC snagging someone first this early. But I could be wrong.
