Quote:JON ASAMOAH
Rich East, 6-3, 282, sr., OL
A tremendous blocker for a team that featured running back Brandon Collins. When Collins got hurt and missed three games, Asamoah and company didn't miss a beat, as Collins' replacement was able to pick up the slack. Has made a verbal commitment to play football at Northern Illinois. The only lineman nominated from the SICA Green.

Quote:MARCUS LEWIS
Warren, 6-2, 198, sr., WR
Caught 39 passes for 798 yards and nine touchdowns for a 9-2 team that lost twice by one point. Last season, he caught 50 passes for 800 yards. Lewis is a two-time all-conference and all-Lake County selection. He also is a standout for one of the area's top basketball teams. Committed to play football at Northern Illinois.

WTG Marcus and Jon! 04-bow
And we are still on the short list for Tyler McKnight and Alex Kube I believe.
I wonder if they'll have a chance to play as true frosh. WR and OL are the two areas we will have a lot of people graduating (3 starting OL, 2 starting WR). Those positions alone are more than half of our non-returning starters.
Offensive line is a very tough position for a true freshman. Even if you have the size (weight), you usually don't have the strength to compete in college. Ryan Diem got pushed around a lot in his freshman season.
