Not really a surprise based on what we knew, although Deon is a great talent, and i'm surprised he wouldn't try to go to a school that runs the ball more.
It is a good and happy day for Alum! His favorite team "stole" a player from NIU.

He did get some nice TV airtime, ie, "Alum85: He Gone!"
I've gone to seven games this year watching Deon William. He's the package. He's much better than Clanton. He's faster. He's more like the Barry Sanders type of thing. He needs to keep his grades up where he's been ineligibile a few times during the basketball season last year. He play basketball too.
