Congrats to the Falcon women's soccer team that defeated Kent today for the 2005 MAC Championship.
The game was scorless in regulation and in the two overtime periods, and Bowling Green won the shootout 3-2. Great game......BAD weather!! The cross wind was something during the whole game. 04-bow
I have some friends on the team and know the coach pretty well. Back to back tournament championships is difficult in any sport! I couldn't be prouder. 04-bow 04-bow 04-bow 04-rock 04-rock 04-rock

Coach Richards has done a tremendous job with our program. Back to Back, baby! Falcons are now 14-6-2.

Best of luck to BG in the NCAA's!!
While we're on the topic of women's sports (congrats to BGSUcks!)...

let's give it up for Ohio's women's volleyball team...currently #20 in the United States...24-2 overall, 14-0 in the MAC...recently crowned MAC regular season champions for the 3rd straight year...#1 seed in the upcoming MAC volleyball tournament...has won 37 matches in a row in the Convo, a streak that leads the nation...has won 18 matches overall in a row...has won 38 MAC matches in a row...leads the nation in assists and kills...need i go on?!

i'd say that deserves at least a little mention here too. 04-bow
I totally agree. That OU volleyball program is tough as nails and is head and shoulders above any other team in the MAC.

Congrats to the Bobcats for a 3rd straight title....
thanks FalconFreak and good luck to the Falcons' women's soccer team in the NCAA's! You play Michigan State, I think. You can do it!
