It is a shame that UAB and Troy are not playing this year. It would be a very physical, well fought, defensive game.

Thanks Puff. As much as our schools don't like one another, it's nice to have your congrats. By the way, congrats on your guys win too!

Top 10 State football programs, based on tradition, success, and whatever else we can think of to tick you off:
1. Alabama. Twelve national titles. 'Nuff said.
2. Auburn. The state's current standard bearer, thanks to back-to-back Iron Bowl victories.
3. Troy. The former small college power now runs like a greyhound, with the big dogs.
4. UAB. The football toddler lacks only two things--a bowl pedigree and a fan base.
5. Jacksonville State. Woke the echoes last year with a successful move to the OVC.
6. Norht Alabama. The Division 2 national title runs through Florence.
7. Tuskegee. A Division 2 power that produces NFL talent.
8. Samford. From Bowdens to Gray, the Bulldogs have done it with class.
9. Alabama State. A consistent SWAC power despite years of political in-fighting.
10. Hoover High. It might be time to make the jump from Class 6A to Division 2.

Agree...good win.

Beat Missouri. The humidity will get to them, take advantage
of it.
I agree. Congratulations. I'm not a big fan of Troy, but I found myself pulling for you guys tonight. Big XII BCS schools better stay away from Alabama ...especially the non-BCS Alabama schools.
