I personally think that we are going to step it up and have another great showing by the D. Something to give them a lot of confidence going into CMU. 3 good games in a row will do wonders for this D.
I voted the jury is still out. They should do well against BSU, but I won't be convinced they've really stepped it up until they do it against CMU on the road.

I just think they have turned that corner. They probably know where to go on each play now, and can just play, not think.
I will say A for Ball State but think the jury is still out on just how much the defense has improved given the level of competition the last two games. We will know more about the defense during the last three games when we play some better teams. The litmus test for me is how well we do against Toledo-a good running team and an efficient passing team.

They do seem to have improved somewhat. The opposing QBs are still getting way too much time to throw (didn't see the Kent State game though) - we're getting away with it against the lesser teams. But I'm not convinced it will continue against CMU or Toledo (no offense to BSU). We have another week to keep improving though, so that's good.
D is improving !!!

They have improved enough for us to be 2005 MAC CHAMPS!
Jury deliberating.

D has not been tested lately despite impressive recent numbers and results vs emu, ksu...and probably bsu.

You expect to get better each game and so do most other decent teams on O and D. How much better is not yet really known IMO.

two biggest challenges ahead since NU and UM .
The D looks like they have improved but the teams they have played in the last 2 weeks have sucked and they did give up 27 against Miami (however I was happy with the improvement in that game)

This game will not prove if the D is good or not either. BSU has the 106th ranked offense in D1A - wow not too much of a challenge there.
I am the KIng of wishfull thinking.
